Ian Blackall is a Director of BEM, he has provided clients in Sydney and NSW with professional real estate valuation and consulting services for over 35 years. With extensive knowledge of the Sydney, North Sydney, Chatswood and Parramatta business districts, Ian is sought after by both the private and public sector for valuations and property advice in respect to all property classes including commercial, industrial, retail, residential and car yards. A specialist in retail valuations, Ian also works with clients to provide rental review advice and to devise strategies for property purchases and sales.

Steve Eccleston is a Director of BEM, he has delivered professional real estate valuation and consultancy services to clients throughout Sydney CBD, metropolitan areas and NSW districts for over 30 years. Steve has extensive experience in feasibility analysis for retail, industrial and residential developments.

Steve regularly undertakes mortgage valuations, consultancy reports, valuations for disposal and acquisition and rental assessments for a variety of private and government clients.

Steve also provides a range of valuation and property related services for a number of state and local government clients. Steve is a panel valuer for the Administrative Decisions Tribunal (rental determinations) and also provides reviews of land tax assessments on behalf of the Department of Lands. Steve is an active member of the NSW Division of the Australian Property Institute having served as a Divisional Councillor and Treasurer from 2005-2009.

Paul McBurnie is a Director of BEM, he has over 45 years experience in real estate valuation and consultancy throughout the Sydney CBD and metropolitan areas. With expertise across all classes of property including commercial, industrial, retail, residential development and Government, Paul’s advice on property acquisition matters and lease renewal negotiations is highly respected. Paul’s extensive experience in rental assessments, determinations and rental reviews ensures he is regularly engaged by the industrial and commercial property sectors.

Richard Montague is a Director of BEM, he has provided expert valuation, consultancy and corporate real estate advice to corporations and government for over 30 years. Richard offers clients comprehensive property services, including tenant representation, rent review and renewal advice, relocation analysis and site selection, lease audits, outgoings assessments, master-planning and portfolio analysis, purchase and sale strategies, occupancy and efficiency audits.

With extensive experience across the business districts of Sydney, North Sydney and Parramatta as well as Sydney’s major suburban markets, Richard is often called upon to provide expert valuations and consultancy advice for owned or occupied commercial, industrial and retail properties.

Richard is also highly experienced in the area of telecommunication solutions and is one of the few experts in this field.

William Neal is an enthusiastic young property professional with 5 years experience in real estate valuation and consultancy. William has gained experience in a range of property sectors and assignments including residential,commercial, retail and industrial valuations and consultancies for mortgage; asset; and purchase and/or sale purposes.

William also has experience with rental consultancy and in statutory valuations for rating and taxation purposes, providing services to NSW Department of Lands as an independent expert in the land value review process.
